Park Hill Chamber Music Camp

The Park Hill Chamber Music Camp has been created to provide opportunities for playing chamber music in a comfortable, nurturing setting and to encourage meeting friends with similar interests.

Each day of camp is divided into ensemble playing with coaching, orchestra, and a fun theory class. All camp events take place at Park Hill United Methodist Church at 5209 Montview Blvd.

Who Can Participate

Any student who meets these minimum requirements is welcome to enroll:

  • Violin: Suzuki book 4 (or equivalent)
  • Viola: Suzuki book 2 (or equivalent)
  • Cello: Suzuki book 3 (or equivalent)

We also welcome sibling that play other chamber music instruments to the camp.

Due to the nature of ensemble playing, it is imperative that students attend all sessions. Please plan accordingly!

Music to be learned will be mailed Saturday, June 10.
Chamber Music Camp
Monday-Friday, July 9 – July 13: 9:00 AM – Noon
Rock-n-Roll orchestra with Javan Carson
Monday-Thursday, July 9 – 12 12:30 – 1:30 PM

Tuition

Tuition for Park Hill Chamber Music Camp is:

  • $220 if postmarked by May 14
  • $250 if postmarked after May 14
  • $90 for the optional Rock-n-Roll orchestra with Javan Carson

Cancellation & Refunds

A full refund, less an administrative fee of $35, will be made if you cancel before June 12, 2012. Otherwise, tuition is forfeited.
